Oven Baked Broccoli: A Recipe

A staple of our grocery list always seems to be a bag of frozen broccoli, toss it in some alfredo pasta for a delightful mix of vegetable into the dish or simply as a side, little man has always loved some leafy greens.

Today I decide to share with you my favorite way to prepare it! A quick and crunchy side with lots of flavor, oven baked broccoli is versatile and delicious!

Olive oil to coat broccoli

2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli

Garlic Powder for seasoning

Preheat oven to 450°. Toss brocolli and olive oil in a dish making sure the broccoli coated evenly. Then toss in the garlic powder to taste. Place coated and seasoned broccoli on a non-stick baking sheet and pop in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven when broccoli appears with a little bit of charring for added flavor. Remove from oven and serve!

I like to add a little bit of color to my broccoli to ensure theres a good crunch to it, and so far little man hasn’t complained! So enjoy your leafy greens with some flavor and crunch the next time you’re in the mood for broccoli!
